Andre "Junia Dre" Neal

Andre Neal also known as Junia Dre was born in Belize City and grew up in Santa Elena Town Cayo district. He felt in love with music at young age. Growing up he had a strong Christian values from his parents and enjoyed gospel music, he was also influenced by Reggae artist like Beenie Man, Beres Hammond, and Hip-hop icon like Snoop Dog, Ice Cube just to name a few. At school Andre was constantly getting in trouble for drumming on the desk, but that didn’t stop “Junia” he wrote and performed his first song when he was 12 years old. In 1997 Jr Dre along with 4 friends formed the group Bomb Scandal Crew and released an album which took 2nd place place in a rap competition for the library, the group splited up 2 years later. Junia Dre continued as a solo artist, he also wrote and performed jingles which includes the”La Ruta Maya Jingle” of 2007 and 2009 and another which serves as a public announcement warning driver of the dangers of drinking and driving. Andre Neal considers himself to be a lyricist and his songs (music) contain positive straight forward messages.
