Bella Carib

Growing up in Belize, Bella Carib was a part of the Bob Reneau musical and dance group. She now resides in Los Angeles and holds a Ph.D in Education from the University of Southern California. "Bella Carib" means beautiful Caribbean. She is a dynamic performer, and her unique style captures the rich vibrance of Caribbean culture through a blend of folk, comedy and sensuality brilliantly braided together in a colorful panorama. Today,she brings to her music the multicultural roots of Belize through a blend of African, Caribbean, and Latin rhythms, highlighting the Punta Rock sound from the Garifuna heritage. Her hit single "Bald head man" topped the charts for several consecutive weeks and was nominated for Best Song of the year. Bella was also nominated in the Best Recording Artist category. Her latest CD, "Rhythm Fever" is a blend of Latin and African sounds, flavored with Soca, Salsa, Calypso, Punta, Reggae and more...a cultural appetizer. When visiting Belize, you must have a valid passport, along with proof of return. No visas are required from the United States, United Kingdom, and Caribbean countries. Most other countries requires visa. Check with your travel representative. Visitors are allowed a month visit without requesting an extension.
