Herman Usher

Herman Usher, also known as “Cowboy” was born in the quaint western village of Teakettle in the Cayo District. He grew up on a small farm owned by his father and there he learned how to be a “Cowboy”, roping and riding horses. Although he never went to high school, he was a sparred boxer and a long distance runner. Herman Usher then decided to turn to the softer side of life. He has been singing in Churches since 1981. He wrote his first gospel song in 2002 and never thought that he would make it this far in his musical career. In 2003 he wrote his first country song entitled “Special to Me”. The fans loved it and he has performed the song many times over the years on Belize Sound Fest and on various radio stations. He now performs on the Show Rural Talk as “Cowboy Herman Usher”. Mr. Usher has written over 35 songs so far which includes: Brukdown, Reggae, Country and Gospel and hopes to release his new album sometime next year.
