Kenroy "Kendawg" Williams

Kenroy Williams also called Ken-Dawg was born and raised in the northern part of Belize in a town called "Suga City" in Orange Walk Town. At the age of 17 he drop out of school to take care of himself due to his family migration to the United States. During this time he was deeply influenced by rap music of Tupac Shakur and other artists which inspired him to write songs of his personal experiences. The turning point of Kenroy's life came when his sister returned from the states and put him out of the house due to the disturbance he caused by being a hustler, this forced him to find a steady job then later moved to Belize City where he developed the hobby of writing poems and songs. In his lyrics he documents his life story especially for his family, so they "overstand what I have been through since they've been gone", expressed Kenroy. In his ten years of writing songs Ken-Dwag has releases 3 albums THE STREET RAISED ME and 4 DA LOVE OF DA GAME 1 & 2. His dream is hopefully one day be discovered and sign a major Record Label, he states "whether it comes through or not I will continue to write conscious music, educating youngster and elders about the threats and opportunities we all face in life."
