Fish Sere

Ingredients:

2 Lbs. of white fish (snapper, grouper, jewfish or snook)*** 4 Green plantains*** 3 Cups of water*** 3 Cloves of garlic*** 3 cups of coconut milk*** 2 tablespoons of cooking oil*** 1 medium onion sliced thinly*** 1 small green pepper sliced thinly*** Salt and pepper to taste.***

Instructions:

Season fish with salt and pepper. Heat cooking oil in frying pan (medium size) and brown fish slightly. Grate plantains and mix with a little coconut milk and salt. Form into small dumplings. In a large pot, bring coconut milk and water to a boil, add onions, green peppers and garlic. Add fish and drop in dumplings one at a time. Cook for a further 15 minutes on low heat. Serve with cooked white rice.
