Stewed beef with vegetables
Ingredients:
2 Lbs steak or beef *** salt and pepper to taste *** 2 tbsp cooking oil *** 1 medium onion (sliced) *** 1 medium green pepper (sliced) *** 1 large carrot *** 2 potatoes *** 1 stick of celery *** 1 cho cho *** a dash of worchestershire sauce *** 1 1/2 cups of water ***
Instructions:
Cut meat into cubes and place in a large bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and worchestershire sauce. Add onions and green pepper. Cover and let meat marinate for 1 1/2 hours. In a large pot, heat oil until very hot. Drain meat, and cook until brown and tender. Add vegetables and the marinade. Cover and cook over meadium heat until vegetables are cooked and gravy is thickened.
